Product Description Buffalo Nfiniti WLI-UC-G300HP Wireless-N USB Adapter USB - IEEE 802.11n (draft)

| Customer Reviews: Hook up and away you go September 2, 2010 jp5472 (Haddon Heights, NJ USA) It even comes with an extender so you can plug it into a USB port that is close to others. Software installed quickly, added security info. Done! Now I have an empty PCI slot from the Buffalo Wireless G card this replaces.
Good but with some annoyances August 24, 2010 James Brimager (California) Firstly, I don't think it says anywhere on the Amazon description that this wireless adapter is Draft N. That's kind of annoying since it isn't the newest version of 802.11n. The second annoyance is the software that comes with it. I wouldn't use it unless I had no choice. Just install the driver and let your OS run its own wireless manager. The last annoyance is that the card is so big that if I plug it into the front slot of my PC I can't get anything to fit on the other. (my computer has 2 USB ports, one above the other). But Those are all minor annoyance and the important things are still good. Like it seems to be really reliable and gets a good singal and stay consistant.
If you're browsing, I would look at other adapters first.
20M+ wireless DL with a true 270M connection to router May 13, 2010 Scott D. Davis (Seminole, FL USA) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
I have this paired with the Nfiniti Wireless-N High Power Router & Access Point WZR-HP-G300NH. I selected this usb wireless adapter after trying others and getting disconnects. I am happy to tell you that the disconnects have gone away. I am using the wireless tool for management, and have had no issues with it.
The router is the key to range and throughput, however, I can tell you that this wireless adapter has made a difference. I have used D-Link, cisco, and belkin wireless adapters, both pcmcia and usb, and none of them have given me this range or throughput with the same router.
I love the little antenna on it, I can tell the difference when it is up verses down. One caution, this is not a small or tiny adapter, although most others are not either.
This adapter comes with a neat little usb extension that is like a stiff, short cable. However, I wanted to share with you a device I found that I paired with this adapter that I like better. The Cables To Go - 30501 - FlexUSB USB A Male to A Female Adapter (Black) allows you to angle the adapter sideways, up, or whatever, without getting in the way.
